laurent cadet introduction
Hi, my name is laurent cadet. I'm originally from miami, but i also lived in haiti for a small portion of time. during the earthquake in haiti all i was seeing was a battle for food among family and friends. it showed me that food is needed to survive in this world. that pushed me into wanting to get into agriculture. i am majoring in agriculture in Santafe, then want to transfer to UF and major in agribusiness. when I'm not in class i usually stay home watch tv or hang around with some friends. i also love sports. I did not decide to go in a online class it was proposed to me by a counselor, i took the shot to try new things.

Hey Laurent, what caused you to have to move to haiti? I am also heavily interested in the agriculture industry. It is very admirable that you saw a need and now have a passion and dedication to want to help make a difference. When I went to China, in some parts of the country, I experienced something similar to the hunger struggle you are referring to. Though it was more of the filth and living conditions the Chinese people have to battle through. What are you intending to do with your degree in agribusiness? I have several friends who are majoring in that and food and resource economics.
ReplyDeletewhen my parents got divorced my mom moved to haiti and i decided to follow her. i have family and friends down there, i had no problem going. after the earthquake i had to move back in miami because school wasn't in function. i don't have a specific goal for my degree in agribusiness but i'm aiming more in organic food.
