Well, my name is Sean Eccles and I am born and raised in Gainesville. I went to P.K. Yonge (Lifer (K-12)) and now I'm a part-time student at Santa Fe. My major is Music, I plan to get my AS degree from the Renton Technical College in Washington, I want to repair musical instruments. This leads me to your next question; when outside of school I work... A lot. Luckily I work in a music store called Great Southern Music, there I am and apprentice working on instruments. Other then that I am in a alternative band that plays several shows a month.
Honestly, the reason why I choose this type of class is because I had never taken a class like this before, also it fit my schedule very well. I traditionally don't do well in "virtual" class, but this seemed like something I could handle.
I'm excited to take this course and learn a lot!
Hello Sean ! I find it very intersting that you're into music and instruments. I played the Baritone for 4 year ! Although I dropped out of band in my freshman year of highschool I still kinda miss it from time to time. It was alot of hard work but I enjoyed going to band competitions and being called a "band geek"! Do you like your job at the "Great Southern Music" store? If so that's wonderful that you love what you do ! I hope I find a job that I love when I graduate from college so I can call it my career instead of just a job .
