The superhero portrayed here is nothing but a visual representation of the perfect woman in the eyes of a man. She has large breasts, a tiny waist, a large butt, long lean legs, and long wavy hair; she is also wearing skin tight clothing that accentuates all of her better features. This superhero also seems to fight crime with a face full of makeup.
The position the artist has placed her in is one that will show off her sexually appealing features in a way that will entice the reader/observer to want to know more about this woman. The women in modern comics are mainly used as sexual objects used to draw the attention of any male character. It seems that, villain or superhero, the main goal of a woman in a comic book is to attract the attention of her opponent and this picture suggests the only way to accomplish this goal is to appeal to his sexuality. The logical purpose of this pose is to obviously attract the male reader. Female superheros such as this one do not and are not meant to look like the average woman; they are drawn to look like picture perfect models. The idea of a woman fighting crime half naked is not only objectifying to women, it is very unrealistic.
