Hunsford proposal from Pride and Prejudice
The reason that the proposal failed was because he made it sound as if he really didn't want her as a wife and wouldn't be happy with the marriage That no one would be happy if they were to marry and that he thinks that it would be frowned apound by everyone. Another reason he failed with the proposal was how he went out of his way to keep his friend from marrying her sister and is happy that he succeed. The only way he could of possibly made his point more persuasively was by not saying anything about how everyone would disprove and that he proposed against his better judgement. He also can explain everything that happened better to make her understand and know the truth about things that she used against him.

I liked to use this subject for my weekly post, but I could not find the link of his proposal. Lol
ReplyDeleteSo, that’s his of proposal?! I am agreed with you, saying that everybody are going to disapprove this marriage could not help him for a good and effective proposal. He should have insisted of positive side of arguments and brings more evidence that show they can be a happily married couple together.
I had to find it on youtube and figure out witch version she was meaning. http://youtu.be/f1Uq5ZAscVg
ReplyDeleteThis is the one I think she was meaning. Its from the TV series version of pride and prejudice.
