The first Harry Potter Novel was published  in 1997, was a publishing sensation that turned into a world wide phenomenon. Many people saw the Harry Potters books as valuable for many reasons. For example it was for the most part kid friendly, and were great books for intermediate readers. Also the books taught kids an extensive vocabulary. However some people claim that the novels were anti-Christian. Also other believe that the the books were too intense for young children. Depending on the criteria used for evaluation, the Harry Potter books can be seen as positive or negative terms. If we judge them on the basis of vocabulary and creative content they are very positive, it seems clear they are well utilized.
