The Harry Potter books definitely deserve their popularity. They obviously have very many fans from the series and the well liked author J.K.Rolling has spent much of her life developing these books. They are very epic and well described. They have a very large amount of fans and if this many people are die hard fans then i think the book deserves the popularity it receives. It is a very eventful and exciting serious that has kept millions interested and waiting for the next novel to come out. Surely all the fans love the movies but the majority will agree they just don't do the books enough justice. The books are filled with long tales and the movies just don't cover it all. However, J.K. Rolling is talented writer and has changed many people life's. The people that are die hard fans that dress up for the midnight premieres of the movies and stay up all hours of the night for the book release would have to agree the books should be considered in positive terms. Due to the great talent of the author. Others may say they do not appreciate the series because they are "twilight"fans but you rarely hear that the series is of bad quality.
