dp 5

There are two fallacies in the introduction of the story by Barbara Ehrenreich, stating that "if you mug a banker you might get lucky and find month worth of rent", and the other is "if you mug a janitor you might be lucky enough to get bus fare to flee the crim". Both of these quotes assume one thing off the back but there is no actual evidence to prove that either of these are factual. jst cause you mug a banker does not necessarily mean your gonna find alot of money, your chances might be a little higher but it could honestly go either way you could get alot of money or little money at all. These two quotes dont really help out Ehrenreich's argumenty dont hurt her either. She uses these two quotes to tell us how the world thinks today and also works. Shows us that if your poor your gonna be thought about in a different way as if you were rich or tells us how your treated as if you were rich or poor.these are very good quotes cause they both catch the readers attention with how society works but she doesnt provide enough evidence to back up her two claims. so the two falacies do not undermine Barbara's idea, she lacks evidence.
