John McCain, who ran for president almost 4 years ago, gave his speech at the Republican National Convention August 28, 2012 in Tampa, Fl. He begins his speech by saying he wishes he could be in a different position. Implying his desire to still be president. However he did all he could do and was supporting Mitt Romney in his nomination. He presents the many reasons America is dealing with trouble, and the solution to this problem electing Mitt Romney. He has been through this before and is a reliable source to know the pressures and issues we are faced with. Not only Americas problems but the conflicts we have with our allies. McCain has been through these issues before and made plans to do with them. He also uses pathos to show voters the trouble America is facing and it is time to put a republican back in power.
