- Its one picture depicting an abused child and how he slowly becomes a similar abusive adult.
- the five figures in the picture are spaced out which helps the audience understand that rather than. being five different people its the same person just a little older each time.
- the five figures are the central focus if the image, they don't take up all the space but take up a vast majority of it.
- both the figures and the background have dull colors which help create a feeling of sadness.
- the empty spaces in the image help create a feeling of loneliness, they also make the child look much smaller, which helps the audience feel much more empathetic towards the child.
- all the figures in the image have either scared or angered looks on their faces, it gives of a feeling of danger.
- this is most definitely and appeal to pathos, it was meant to strike a nerve with its audience.

This image obviously shows how bad child abuse is. And how it can affect your children is a very strong way even causing them to become like you when they grow up and then maybe turning their kids into them. Creating a virtually never ending cycle, a vicious circle. This image works very well to show what child abuse can lead to and it is a very powerful picture. The atmosphere in the picture is very dark and gloomy, symbolizing how sad or depressing this is. Child abuse is worse and it truly sucks that people are actually capable of doing it.
