Conclusion
I feel that you did really good on your essay outline. I do feel you could of added more information to give a better view to your readers about what your trying to say. I like that you chose an old spice advertisement. I think its a good example for what our teacher is looking for our essay.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see an old spice commercial it make me feel like going to the store and buying deodorant. I never really noticed all the points that you made but after reading your outline I did notice it makes a good point. I agree that the sandy white beach and mostly clear sky do give me the impression that if I were to wear old spice deodorant I would be fresh. I think you did a good job on your argument.
ReplyDeleteJust reading this made me want to watch an Old Spice guy commercial on youtube again! One thing you may want to develop more is section 2c as you only have one point outlined here. Also it might be worth including something about how the Old Spice guy talks, since he has a very distinct speech pattern. I think that might be one of the most memorable things about the commercials. He keeps talking to ladies that their man could be like him (implying that he is, in fact, the ideal guy). Maybe you could use that to tie your points in section 3 together.
ReplyDeleteNice outline, I would just make sure you provide more analysis and really assert your opinion.
